OUR STORY
From Du Verden
and Crosta to Erica.
Our story began with Du Verden Matbar in Alta in 2013. The aim was to bring different generations together over food and drinks, with flavours inspired by the world.
Crosta opened next door, serving pizza, pasta, drinks and lunch. The two venues later came together under the name Erica.
The name Erica comes from the heather family. For us, it is a reminder of where we belong and what we want our food to be rooted in. Local ingredients, the seasons of the north and the people who fish, grow and produce them should be the starting point for our kitchen. We welcome inspiration from elsewhere, while letting our local roots guide our choices.
